We belong to the Hamburg Oratorio Choir and regularly perform great works of choral music with the Hamburg Symphonic Orchestra in the Laeiszhalle Hamburg. We are about 50 female and male singers, divided into 8 voices. Every year we perform a big winter concert and a smaller concert in summer. On occasion we also give other concerts too.We rehearse in Barmbek in the "Schule Fraenkelstraße",Fraenkelstraße 3, 22307 Hamburg,every Monday from 7.15 to 9.15 pm(S-Bahnstation Alte Wöhr)Active membership costs € 15.00 monthly and passive members pay € 7.50 monthly. The age limit to join: new members should preferably not be older than 53 years old. It is necessary to be able to read music and to audition. |
